Sonakshi Sinha has sprained her wrist while shooting for Akira.
The Tevar actress was recently spotted in distinct pain at the Mijwaan event.
A source close to the film told SpotboyE.com, "Sonakshi has been doing a lot of action sequences for Akira, which includes even martial arts. She hurt her wrist during one such stunt recently."
Akira (which means ‘graceful strength’ in Sanskrit) is being directed by Ghajini director A R Murugadoss. The film is said to be a remake of the Tamil hit Mounaguru.
Sonakshi plays the role of a misunderstood girl who is forced to fight back.
Akira marks Sonakshi's first outing with her actor-politician father Shatrughan who is a part of the film, and her second outing with A R Murugadoss after he directed her in Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday.
